The opportunity:
AIA are looking for two experienced Financial Control Analysts to join our Financial Control team in Sydney. The main purpose of these roles is to perform high quality reconciliations both daily & monthly for the AIA Insurance and Superannuation cash transaction accounts. These are fixed term contracts until June 2023 (with the potential to extend if the project requires).

To do this successfully you will:
- Reconcile data from source systems to the general ledger and bank accounts- Identify and analyse data to understand type of reconciliation exception.- Assign outstanding items to the relevant stakeholder and facilitate the clearance of exception.- Follow up Business Unit regarding action they are taking to clear reconciliation discrepancies, so they do not become an aged exception.- Be able to support reports using excel macros using VBA- Preparation of detailed month end reconciliations with appropriate supporting documentation. Report outstanding items in ARC system in accordance with AIA Group Reconciliation Policy.- Liaise effectively with Accurate Support team to implement changes to Accurate (reconciliation tool).- Seek and analyse customer feedback and suggest ways to address issues in the context of continual process improvement.- Involvement in project work, including system testing and change management. Liaising with project managers and key stakeholders to ensure the success of the overall project.- Recently degree qualified in Business, Finance, or related disciplines- Financial control experience including reconciliation, analysis, investigation, and reporting- Experience and/or working knowledge of Financial Services or Insurance industry- Strong process improvement mindset- Problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail- Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel skills- Strong numeracy, GL systems and reporting skills- Excellent communication skills
