This is a great opportunity to help maintain appropriate assurance across Insignia Financial by providing support to the team in the planning and execution of reviews in the 2nd line assurance plan.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support the planning, execution and reporting of 2nd line assurance reviews and activities (including thematic assurance reviews and targeted controls oversight reviews);
- Deliver relevant workpapers and other outputs on-time and to a high quality;
- Assist with relevant work relating to the development and maintenance of relevant assurance frameworks, standards, systems and tools;
- Assist with other ad hoc assurance activities as required, which may include (but is not limited to) development of the integrated assurance plan, provision of assurance Subject Matter Expert support and insights and internal team strategic initiatives.

**To be successful in this role you will possess**:

- Postgraduate studies in Risk, Compliance and/or Finance (well regarded);
- Experience working in complex financial services organisations (or other complex regulated industries) or consulting firms;
- Experience working in risk or assurance roles;
- Understanding of Enterprise Risk Management principles, including risks and controls, and the 3 lines of accountability model;
- Awareness of the regulatory system as it applies to complex Australian financial service providers (or other complex regulated industries);
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Attention to detail;
- Good time management and ability to adapt to changing priorities;
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and deal with ambiguity.
