How will I help?


As a Control Analyst, Financial Markets, you will be supporting the Senior Manager - Quality and Testing in proactively identifying and managing operational and compliance risks in Financial Markets.

In addition, you will be ensuring that risk management is embedded into business processes to enable all first line personnel to assume accountability for risks they initiate.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Completion of CSAs for controls performed across the FM business
  • Oversee the identification, assessment, management, monitoring and reporting of operational risks, compliance risks and incidents arising within the business.
  • Ensure that incidents are completely and accurately recorded, and appropriately assessed and resolved.
  • Ensure the adequate capture and tracking of JUNO issues identified to address risk and or control gaps
  • Assist the FM risk advisors work with Specialised Compliance (2LoD) to identify all the obligation sets relevant to the FM lines of business and to identify processes that are undertaken to comply with each compliance obligation set.
  • Assist in the development of monitoring metrics over JUNO hygiene

What do I need?


To be successful in this role, you would ideally have 2-3+ years of audit experience within a consulting or banking/financial services organisation with a qualified degree.

Having SOx testing will be highly advantageous and put you in great position to hit the ground running in the role.

In addition to this, excellent verbal and written communication is must for this role, as you will play a significant part in taking the lead and communicating with a diverse cross section of the bank.
