**About The Role**

We are seeking a full-time Retail Manager based in our St Kilda retail store. You will engage and assist our design-centric customers with excellent customer service and love of interiors, whilst taking charge of day-to-day retail tasks. Working with a creative and driven team, you will have the opportunity to make a difference within a growing business.

As our Retail Manager, you will have the opportunity to engage with all members of the DESIGNSTUFF team, including:

- our Buying Team to manage the in-store product range
- our Marketing team and in-house Visual Merchandising team to effectively showcase and DESIGNSTUFF’s promote the diverse product range, brand story, and campaigns through various channels
- our Digital team to assist with in-store content creation
- our Warehouse & Dispatch team to coordinate stock movement, customer queries, and order fulfilment.

The role offers a diverse range of opportunities You will be involved in range selection, VIP product launches, new season reveals, and going live on our social media channels. We celebrate ideas and initiative, we welcome exploration, creativity, team participation and autonomy.

Your goal will be to manage our store in a way that boost revenues and help to develop the business.

**Responsibilities**
- Organise and manage all store operations
- Service customers in store (consumers, interior designers/architects)
- Control the store’s budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency
- Monitor stock levels and perform stock stake when necessary
- Provide high level customer service to maintain the store’s reputation
- Inspect the areas in the store and resolve any issues that might arise
- Plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays, workshops and product launches
- Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store
- Analyse sales and stock reports
- Facilitate click and collect orders
- Take initiatives to consistently enhance the stores sales performance
- Manage phone enquiries and live-chat questions
- Ensure the store fulfils all legal health and safety guidelines

**About You**
- Have previous experience within a retail environment, ideally high-end brands and/or homewares and furniture
- Be driven to achieve high-performing sales
- Have excellent time management skills, strong attention to detail, and a creative mindset
- Be able to work autonomously and have commercial awareness
- Be a clear communicator
- Have an analytical mind and familiarity with data analysis principles
- Seek out opportunities to elevate the performance of the retail store
- Contribute to the team in a positive manner
- Be comfortable taking phone enquiries and live-chat queries
- Have clear communication skills, both written and spoken, with a high degree of empathy
- Be well presented, suitable for a high-end showroom environment
- Be available to work 9.45 am - 4pm Saturdays. Tuesday - Friday 8.45-5
