**What you’ll do**

Working under the Facilities Manager, you will collaborate with all teams and be responsible for the availability and compliance of all facilities services at the North Ryde site.
- Your responsibilities will include:_
- Maintain detailed understanding of critical services in a sterile manufacturing environment.
- High level understanding of graded areas within the facility
- Understanding of regulatory requirements relating to facilities management and sustainability including mandatory reporting requirements
- Provide guidance and support in the planning, design and execution of facility services in accordance with pharmaceutical industry standards and regulations
- Maintain relationships with key service providers to ensure smooth delivery of facility operations
- Provide technical support and training to facility staff on best practices, procedures and safety protocols
- Support strategic oversight, direction and targets for all team members
- Identify improvement opportunities in line with SHE targets and programs
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Maintain services records in a GMP compliant manner
- Identify and implements cost saving initiatives to further improve financial performance of area of responsibility

**Essential for the role**
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Science
- Pharmaceutical/Food industry experience
- Comprehensive understanding of the asset management techniques.
- High level negotiation and contract management skills
- Strong communication, engagement, interpersonal and people management skills
- Good technical writing and presentation skills.

**Desirable for the role**
- Knowledge of TGA requirements
- Understanding of critical services within sterile manufacturing
- Knowledge of Document control and Quality system
