JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Managing supplier programs and relationships, ensuring high levels of service both internally and externally.
- Overseeing the Request for Pricing (RFP) process, dealing with vendor queries, and providing solutions.
- Assisting in enhancing value-added benefits for our clients.
- Handling data management tasks such as collecting and storing hotel information, ensuring accuracy, and updating files as needed.
- Building and maintaining relationships with hoteliers and other suppliers, attending industry events to enhance our company's profile.
- Coordinating staff training and development initiatives.
- Ensuring smooth operation of back-office systems related to suppliers and liaising with other departments for effective database use.
- Operating in compliance with local legislation and company policies.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Relevant experience in travel procurement
- Strong negotiation skills
- knowledge of supplier contracts, pricing, and RFP processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and intermediate project management skills.
- Strong knowledge of Australian hotels and car hire suppliers
- Strong customer service, change management, and time management skills.
