**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Reporting directly to one of our division Head of Leaders, the role of Travel Specialist is a dynamic one that is responsible for the overall end-to-end management of travel services and logistics of projects within a nominated division of Show Group - Tour & Live Performance, Film/TV Production, Corporate Travel and Sport & Group Movement.

A typical day will be managing all aspects of set travel projects for customers as delegated by division Head of Leader or Team Leader, planning and booking travel & logistics for Film/TV Productions or Tour & Live Performance acts or Sporting Bodies & Group Movements or Corporate Business Travel.
As an integral member of the team, you will be working closely with the division Head of Leader and Team Leader, key customers, travel suppliers, Show Group & CTM colleagues as well as other stakeholders to ensure that the projects and travel bookings are successfully managed and delivered within a set time frame.

The role will primarily be within one of the Show Group divisions however from time to time, you may be asked to support another division of Show Group due to changes in market demand and schedule variations of projects that must be managed.

Working in production travel doesn't always adhere to a typical 9-5 office hours. At times we all need to be flexible to meet the needs of our customers and the production schedule. As a result, there may be instances where you may need to work beyond regular office hours to fulfil the project commitments.

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- At least 5 years’ experience in Domestic & International travel (experience in entertainment travel, Groups, Sport, MICE or other production style travel will be preferred)
- Demonstrated GDS knowledge is essential with a preference for Sabre
- Knowledge of Tramada mid office system will be a bonus
- At least a Certificate III in Travel & Tourism or equivalent
- International Fares & Ticketing I & II
- An aptitude for project management style of working
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner both written and spoken
- Commitment to exceptional customer service
- Enthusiastic team player
