Beaumont People are currently recruiting a fantastic role which will offer autonomy and responsibility working for an established Charity based in Melbourne. The Community Coordinator will coach fundraisers to exceed their personal fundraising target across events. You will take ownership and manage the Community Fundraising program to grow, engage and retain the supporter base.

In addition to developing relationships, this role will also play a key role in creating fundraiser communications to strengthen the donor journey, including SMS, eDM, direct mail and other content. You will also be heavily involved in planning & post event reporting.

**Responsibilities**:

- Running the day to day operations and implementation of the Community Fundraising program
- Helping to develop the plan and execute multi-channel campaigns and events using social, digital, direct mail and telemarketing channels
- Contribute to increasing the income through community fundraising
- Manage fundraising events under the brand and major peer-to-peer events
- Provide support and assist with fundraising events and activities
- Maintain effective communications and build strong relationships with community supporters, promoting the brand within the fundraising community and general giving public.

**Your Skills & Attributes**
- Ability to work autonomously & as part of a team
- Experience in a similar community position
- Proven success motivating individuals to achieve peer to peer fundraising targets
- Well-developed oral, written and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in maintaining donor records (Raisers Edge experience highly regarded)
- Excellent time management and ability to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent budget management, campaign and forecasting and reporting
- Strong team environment, passionate, collaborative, hardworking, positive, committed to results
