Seeking experienced teachers who are passionate to deliver and support our students in completing the CCHC40221 Certificate IV in School Based Education Support course and provide them with essential skills and confidence to work collaboratively with teachers and students. You will:

**About Us**:
Victoria University (VU) Polytechnic is the vocational education division of Victoria University (TAFE) which offers job ready qualifications, upskilling and reskilling for existing workers, pathways to further studies, workforce development and exposure to real-life work skills. Our Education Support course combines a structured learning program and practical work placement to equip students with the essential knowledge and practical skills and knowledge to enter the industry.

**About the Role**:
As a teacher, you will support students to become ready for embarking a rewarding career in. Approximately 21 hours per week is allocated for teaching. Your role will also involve developing learning resources, training and assessing students whilst maintaining accurate records.

CHC40221 Certificate IV in School Based Education Support is delivered at our relaxed and friendly Footscray Nicholson St Campus or Werribee Campus which have childcare facilities.

An example of duties you may perform will include:

- Facilitating learning and establish educational and assessment strategies to suit our diverse student cohort across a range of delivery methods, including on-line, classroom based and blended delivery.
- Research, development and customising learning materials, training and assessment
- Assessment of student performance in accordance with the requirements of the curriculum
- Establishing and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Ensuring quality and compliance requirements are met

**Salary and Conditions of Employment**:

- This is a full time fixed term role at a Teacher 3.1 to 5.2 classification, $83,505 - $105,885 per annum plus 11% superannuation, working 38 hours per week until December 2024.
- Conditions of employment will be covered by the Victoria University's Vocational Teacher Enterprise Agreement 2019.

**About You**:

- TAE 40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or TAE40110 with required upskill units TAEASS502 and TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A. You need to have a willingness to continually learn and develop as a professional trainer and assessor.
- a minimum CHC40116 Certificate IV in Education Support or its successor
- a valid E Class (employee) Working with Children Check or current VIT registration to be able to undertake this role.
- Your great communication skills will be a key asset and used daily to teach our students
- Have a willingness to continually learn and develop as a professional trainer and assessor
