About the Role:


As a TAFE Teacher you will deliver units in the Diploma of Library and Information Services course with a team of dedicated, passionate and highly respected teachers.


You will be a part of educating students on students on how to successfully assist children with a disability in the school system using your experience, our training program and the support of our industry partners.


Fully supported you will use hybrid delivery modes such as on line, face to face and our Learning Management System.

An example of duties you may perform will include:

  • Facilitate learning and establish educational and assessment strategies to suit our diverse student cohort across a range of delivery methods, including on-line, classroom based and blended delivery.
  • Research, develop and customise learning materials, training and assessment
  • Assess of student performance in accordance with the requirements of the curriculum
  • Establish and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Ensure quality and compliance requirements are met

This role is being offered on a full time (38 hours per week) fixed term basis for a period of 12 months.

Salary and Conditions of Employment:

  • The fulltime equivalent salary range is from $83,505 per annum to $105,855 per annum, plus 10.5% superannuation and is dependent on experience and qualifications.
  • Conditions of employment will be covered by the Victoria University's Vocational Teacher Enterprise Agreement 2019.

About You:

  • To teach in TAFE you much have completed TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or equivalent
  • Hold a relevant vocational/industry qualification at the level of the course or above and have teaching experience either in a TAFE or an RTO
  • You must hold a valid E Class (employee) Working with Children Check to be able to undertake this role.
  • Your great communication skills will be a key asset and used daily to teach our students
  • Have a willingness to continually learn and develop as a professional trainer and assessor.
