We are currently seeking a Payroll Officer to join our client's payroll team located in Surry Hill, Sydney. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the weekly payroll for 100 permanent employees and 600 casuals, including superannuation calculations and compliance with relevant EBAs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Processing end-to-end payroll, including accurate calculation of superannuation for permanent employees and casuals.
- Managing and resolving payroll discrepancies and issues in a timely manner.
- Providing excellent customer service to employees and resolving any payroll-related queries.
- Collaborating with other teams, such as HR and Finance, to ensure smooth payroll processes.
- Assisting with payroll reporting, data analysis, and preparation of payroll-related reports.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date payroll records.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Strong understanding of relevant employment laws, regulations, and retail awards.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing, including superannuation calculations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in DayForce system.
