**_The Opportunity_**
Reporting to the Leader Self-Insured Services, the Evaluator is part of a team who possess a broad diversity of skills and experience and have a strong focus on values and cultural alignment. The role ensures legislative requirements are met, evaluates self-insurer performance, and drives continuous improvement of employer obligations under the _Return to Work Act_, whilst raising ReturnToWorkSA’s presence as a regulator.

**_ The Position_**
This role is responsible for ensuring employers meet the legislative requirements and exercise delegated powers and discretions appropriately to maintain the level of performance expected as a self-insured employer.

Key responsibilities include:

- Provide advice and support to applicants and potential applicants for self-insurance to ensure they understand and can meet the legislative requirements
- Evaluate existing self-insurers against legislation and prescribed standards and make recommendations relating to corrective actions and renewal of registration
- Drive improvement in self-insurer performance through a range of ongoing interactions and support activities.

**This will be a full-time ongoing position.**

**_About You_**

Desirably possessing audit qualifications; you will be able to navigate various business systems, have acute attention to detail, be able to produce high quality and concise written reports, and have excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously. You will also be a good communicator and able to build effective relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.

***Special Requirements / Conditions**
- Frequent travel to meet with clients (including to regions)
- Current driver’s licence is essential
- Based on assessment of risk the occupant of this position may be required to maintain certain vaccinations (as relevant) and provide evidence.
