As Compliance Lead reporting to the Director of Strategy & Operations, you will build and implement the compliance framework for the school and support capability development within the school to ensure compliance. With the assistance of one direct report, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, delivering and embedding the following:
**Compliance Framework** - OH&S, RTO, VSL, Child Safety, Fair Work (including prohibiting sexual harassment), and Boarding School premises.

**Compliance Adherence** - Plan and monitor compliance requirements to ensure all organisational requirements are met.

**Compliance Capability** - Develop compliance capability across the organisation to ensure that all employees understand, execute and embrace compliance matters in relation to their role.

**Providers** - Manage the service provider relationships that form part of the compliance framework i.e. RTO agencies, VETSL agencies, Employee OH & S agencies, Student and Child Safety agencies, Fair Work Commission, VRQA
**Policy Management** - Manage policies to ensure they are relevant, updated and communicated to ensure a safe workplace.

**Facilities Management** - Manage the facilities to ensure they are safe, functional, and well-maintained. Manage facilities planning, capital works projects, refurbishments.

It is essential that interested professionals have previous experience in a similar role, able to lead, guide and influence staff in an RTO/CRICOS environment, minimising risk and assuring compliance to standards across the organisation including:

- Managed complex organisation wide compliance
- Managed facilities
- Developed a compliance framework
- Have had a focus on Health, Safety and Wellbeing
- Managed Child Safety

Tertiary level qualifications in HR/Education/Finance/Risk would be highly regarded. Previous knowledge of understanding compliance within a school (Secondary) environment is preferred. Working respectfully and collaboratively across the organisation to influence, educate and embed a robust compliance framework that is embraced by all is essential. Any familiarity with the performing arts would be highly-regarded.
