Communication Coordinator

Translink Division is responsible for delivering public transport across Queensland,with the Communication Team focused on external communication for bus, train, ferry and tram services and network changes. The objective of the Communication Coordinator is to help deliver clear, customer-first messaging about changes on the network.
Key responsibilitiesSome of your responsibilities will include: - Manage the Translink Communication Team inbox and deliver effective communication activities to support temporary service changes, track closures, network disruptions, promotion of public transport to events and other communication activities within short timeframes and tight budgets. Develop high-quality messaging using plain English for a variety of different audiences and media (both printed and digital) and update the Translink website using an in-house CMS. Effectively communicate, liaise and consult with internal and external stakeholders to achieve Translink's objectives. Provide business and administrative support, adhere to relevant processes, and help respond to incoming correspondence.

Requirements of the role
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and experience engaging, and working collaboratively with, internal and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing, to deliver customer-focused outcomes. - Strong time management and organisational skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage changing priorities. Proven experience delivering communications activities to an external audience. Active participation in the design of new solutions, new ways of working and a commitment to improvement.
