What does the role involve?

Working with the Communications and Marketing Manager, you will work collaboratively with key stakeholders to support Sedgman's global internal and external communications and branding/marketing activities.

You will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects.

  • Some of the key work and projects you could expect to experience include:


External communications
  • Take a lead role in our website redevelopment project, as well as ongoing ownership of its content and analytics.


 Internal communications
  • Support development of business content, intranet administration and content, manage our internal social platform, contribute to the development and execution of internal communications plans.


 Brand and marketing
  • Manage style guides and our media library, monitor socials, source and create content across various mediums, assist with reports and budgets and engage with external providers.


 Digital and design
  • Manage the development, design and update of marketing collateral and materials, photography and video requests as well as deliver other design requests.


 Community
  • Support planning and execution of the community investment and volunteering activities, including promotion and budget management.

  • You are a skilled writer that can adapt content for various audiences and mediums.
  • You are a "doer" that likes to show initiate and can work autonomously when needed.
  • You don't mind flexing your digital design skills from time to time and a website project sounds like a good addition to your CV.
  • You naturally work well with people at all levels of an organisation and can communicate effectively with the audience you are targeting and/or liaising with.
  • You have experience in a communications role, similar industry exposure would be a plus.
