CBGU JV is working on Queensland’s largest infrastructure project and we’re building our team for the future. South East Queensland is about to embark on a period of sustained growth in the lead up to the 2032 Olympics, and we are thrilled to be involved in developing Cross River Rail, which will forever change the way Queenslander’s travel.

CBGU JV brings together CPB Contractors, BAM, Ghella and UGL to deliver the Tunnel & Stations Package for Brisbane’s Cross River Rail, the 10.2 kilometre rail line between Dutton Park and Bowen Hills, including 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and CBD. The project also includes construction of four new underground stations at Roma Street, Albert Street, Boggo Road and Woolloongabba, where the future upgraded Olympic stadium will stand.

The Stakeholder and Communications Team works collaboratively with the broader project team to provide effective internal and external communication. Whilst building Brisbane’s largest infrastructure project, we aim to provide effective communication and community initiatives to maintain and improve relationships with the project’s key stakeholders.

In this role you will:

- Write content for a range of internal and external publications including internal and external newsletters, staff bulletins, social media, worker profiles, industry award submissions
- Coordinate tours and photoshoots on site
- Capture photo and video content on site including timelapse and GoPro footage
- Assist with producing videos
- Assist with producing internal campaigns e.g. safety, staff awards
- Assist with managing internal and external events
- Assist with producing site signage

We’re looking for someone with:

- 2-3 years’ experience in a communications role
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Sound organisational and administration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and flexible team environment
- Tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, business or similar
