**About the Role**
- The Accounts & Membership Administrative Assistant role is an integral part of our Finance & Membership's team, responsible for performing duties associated with the executive and administrative support to the Finance & Membership team who support over 1800 members.
- Located in the heart of Sydney city, minutes’ walk from trains, busses and ferries.
- **What you will bring**:

- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable data,
- Attend all walking members in the office to friendly service to the members.
- Collect receipts and daily cashier’s summary from Club outlets closed by the night audit, check and reconcile. Follow up variances with the relevant Supervisor
- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Issue tax invoice for new member joined today
- Process all resigning members Reversal Subscription charges in consulting with the Membership team for Northstar system has accurate information and send final tax invoices
- Ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted to the Northstar Club Financial System
- Petty cash expenses reimburse and weekly reconcile
- Verify discrepancies and resolve Club Member billing issues
- Contact Member for payment of outstanding accounts
- Set up and process member direct debit payments including by credit card
- Prepare the reports detailing accounts receivable status, and follow up on overdue debtor’s accounts
- Work under pressure and meet the tight deadlines
- Provide guidance to staff members regarding financial processes
- Assist the Head of Finance and other staff as required by Managements

**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.
- Accounts Data entry experience is desirable
- Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Word, Excel
- Ability to start immediately.

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
