Social Worker
Fixed Term - to commence 1st April 2024, until 9th June 2024.
Part Time - 64 hours per fortnight
**Classification**: Social Worker Grade 2 (SC24)
**Award**: Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Health Sector) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement 2021-2026

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

**Qualifications**:

- A qualification that makes an employee eligible for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.

Technical/Professional Knowledge and skills
- Ability to engage and work effectively with individuals and families from culturally diverse backgrounds.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the principles of counselling, case management and health promotion.
- Experience and ability to utilise clinical knowledge and skills to identify and address the needs of people with complex and multiple health needs.
- Ability to build effective working partnerships with a range of stakeholders to achieve effective outcomes.
- Understanding and commitment to evidence-based practice and person-centred care.
- Demonstrated evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development to ensure working within current scope of practice.

Personal Attributes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and advocate in a timely and effective manner
