Health Care Worker - Avoca Nursing Home

Permanent Part Time - 56 hours per fortnight

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Qualifications:

  • Certificate III or IV
  • Ageing Support (CHC43015) including the medication component or willingness to complete or Certificate III
  • Individual Support (CHC33015)

Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrate the ability to undertake appropriate care that meets the individual needs of the resident and relatives.
  • Demonstrate an ability to develop and review Resident Care Plans.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, carers, staff and others.
  • Welldeveloped written skills.
  • Demonstrated evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development to ensure working within current scope of practice.
