Intake and Data Support Worker
Fixed Term - to commence 6th May 2024 until 23rd August 2024.
Full Time - 80 hours per fortnight
**Classification**: Administration Assistant Grade 2 (HS2)
**Award**: Victorian Public Health Sector (Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement 2021 - 2025
A position exists for an individual to join the Community Services Team as the Intake and Data Support Worker. This role is fixed term from 6th May 2024 until 23rd August 2024 as part of leave coverage. The position within the Community Services Team will provide a coordinated approach and a single entry point for clients within the MDHS catchment and will effectively liaise with Community Services staff regarding clients accessing services.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
Essential
- Qualification in Certificate IV in Welfare Work, Enrolled Nurse Level 2 or other health related fields.
- Current Drivers Licence

Technical/Professional Knowledge and skills
- Knowledge of the broad range of health and welfare issues in the MDHS Catchment
- Broad understanding and knowledge of local health and community service providers
- Ability to meet reporting timelines and manage competing priorities and demands within the role
- Ability to advocate with a wide range of service providers on behalf of clients
- Ability to navigate and work within administration systems

Personal Qualities
- Demonstrated problem solving and solution focus skills
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
