The opportunity

At QBE, we are always looking for empathetic and eager to learn Insurance Claims Professionals for our claims team. If you have strong customer service experience and a passion for helping people, this great position within insurance will give you the platform to develop into a successful insurance professional.

Your new role
- Claims officer who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment;
- Deliver exceptional customer service over the phone and face-to-face;
- Guide and provide support to people throughout their recovery, advising them what happens next;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers;
- Work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment; and
- Look after claims from start to finish with the help of your leaders.

About you
- Be customer focused and genuinely care about people
- Be resilient and not easily overwhelmed (sometimes it can be tough assisting people through a vulnerable time in their life)
- The confidence to make decisions and be empowered
- Be able to actively listen to people and guide people through the claims process in a natural and emphatic manner on the phone
- You will be an experienced Claims professional who ideally has CTP and/or Workers Compensation experience
- Allied Health background is a bonus but not essential
- Have good computer skills and the ability to pick up new computer systems
- Be able to prioritise work; and
- You will be motivated to assist your clients in achieving positive outcomes.
