**The Role**
Directorate of Governance and Business (JLC_HQ) seeks a Governance professional who wants to use their leadership, administration, and governance skills to contribute to protecting Australia's national interests. This role will involve contributing to a small team, and employing well-developed administration and governance skills to enable the Command to deliver on its objectives.

The role will focus on supporting JLC Branch Governance and Business and executives by ensuring work flows smoothly across the Command. You will contribute to the Command’s HQ that integrates strategic, governance, administrative processes, program management and business support across the Command.
- Undertake key cyclic reporting functions at HQ Level.
- Preparing and maintaining Business Plans and Governance Frameworks.
- Develop and implement policies, processes and procedures consistent with organisation requirements.
- Support the AD Governance in a variety of tasks.

The Directorate of Governance and Business provides strategic oversight and central coordination of the Governance and Business function within the Joint Logistics Command HQ. These programs are strategic priorities for the Command and are significant long-term commitments in terms of effort and resources required to conduct detailed planning, coordinate activities and ensure timely execution of requirements.

The Governance and Business team are responsible for the management of the Governance Framework and JLC-HQ Business Management providing assurance activities across the Command, working closely in partnership with the JLC Branches.

- Understanding of Strategic Management, Governance & Governance Frameworks, and Business Plans and Administration.
