**About the team**:
Central Operations keeps our business moving. Our team supports, coaches, and empowers
our retail teams across the country. We help them be at their best, so they can deliver the
best experiences for our team members and customers every day

**About the role**:
As our new Supply Chain Manager in the consumables team, you will manage the supply chains between our Stores, Suppliers and DC’s and manage continuous improvement projects aimed at improving our supply of consumables into all 850 stores nationally.

You'll also:

- Partner with merchandising teams on Supplier Management to resolve DIFOT issues
- Develop constructive supply chain relationships with key suppliers at all levels
- Partner with suppliers, internal stakeholders and stores to develop end-to-end supply chain synchronisation to enhance service, cost, and cash targets for Coles and its trading partners
- Leverage Lean ways of working to create a culture of continuous improvement, and drive out loss throughout the value chain
- Lead Transformational projects to deliver the best customer experience.

**About you and your skills**:
You will bring your ability to interpret data, manage change, identify trends, and confidently communicate them to influence decisions. With developed leadership and stakeholder management skills you will have the ability to have genuine impact and see projects through to tangible outcomes.
- Proven people leadership experience in Supply Chain ideally within a Retail or FMCG environment
- Demonstrated experience of strong commercial understanding
- Strong understanding of Supply Chain processes and cost drivers
- Proven understanding of retail replenishment systems and factors that affect store availability
- Developed data analysis and insight generation skills, with advanced MS Excel skills
- Demonstrated project delivery experience is desired
