**Purpose of the role**

AGS is a complex and rapidly growing global business division of the Allegis Group. The Regional Controller plays a key role in the regional financial leadership team with a view to maximizing the business value and returns to the ultimate owner. This will require enhancements and improvements to controls, processes, documentation, procedures, and practices within the financial and legal framework.

The Regional Controller will play a key role in promoting operating efficiency throughout the business division as well as delivering financial and commercial leadership.

**Role Overview**
- Reporting to the Director of Financial Operations, you will lead the overall commercial, financial, and legal aspects of a section of the division.
- Develop an understanding of the business model and be responsible for any financial activities related to the implementation of new clients/program expansion and structural consolidations in line with the Executive Director and the Regional Leadership Team.
- Direct reports include x1 headcount based in India
- Work with the Group Accounting, Finance & Legal teams across the breadth of the Division.
- Manage the budgets and forecasts for the division and ensure that accurate monthly management accounts are prepared for the Leadership Team.
- Ensure that all those involved with Allegis Global Solutions in the commercial management, pricing and contracts, and finance and accounting organizations throughout APAC are being constantly developed and trained to enhance their full capability and the productivity of the function.
- Work directly with the Executive Director to develop and maintain division policies as well as those associated with risk management and compliance.

**Key Tasks and Deliverables**

Business partnering:

- Demonstrates proactivity, adaptability, accountability, responsiveness, motivation, collaboration, forward-thinking, and growing people
- Exhibit financial prudence and be able to deliver solid advice in fraught circumstances where there are tight windows of opportunity
- Build & maintain strong working relationships with the AGS Executive Director and other members of the Leadership Team

Operational financial, legal, and commercial planning & management:

- Monitor, report and proactively “manage” business KPIs
- Conduct ongoing thorough cost base analysis and opportunity identification
- Ensure robust cost management, trend, and forecast analysis
- Minimize debtor aging
- Prepare accurate business forecasts

Commercial contracts & pricing:

- Develop pricing as required
- Review all pricing before submission
- Ensure it meets target margins & is an optimized cost model
- Ensure appropriate input and sign-off
- Maintain & improve the standard of pricing throughout the division
- Ensure all new opportunities which are won are properly accounted for and profitability managed
- Involvement in contract creation ensuring due process followed
- Review all contracts before submission
- Participate in and add value to Contract negotiations, also ensuring no commercial clauses in the contracts expose AGS or are commercially unfavorable, ensure issues are escalated and resolved
- Ensure all invoicing occurs on time per contract
- Ensure the division manages client accounts in accordance with their respective contracts
- Highlight contract renewal timeframes and ensure renewal is considered at the earliest opportunity.

Commercial risk management:

- Active escalation of issues, including suggestions on how to address issues in a timely manner
- Working with the business, lead the development, implementation and management of an appropriate pricing governance framework to minimize commercial risk in contracting with clients
