**Overview**

**DTEN **is looking for an experienced
**Regional Sales Manager** to bring their strength as a sales coach and a proven revenue driver to lead and grow our
**APAC **Region. As a
**player/coach **you will drive new business and support existing clients in your own territory of Australia and New Zealand, while supporting a team of Regional Sales Managers within the APAC Region. You will work closely and report to our GM North America Sales / APAC, to build a Regional Strategy to drive growth and revenue. **What you will bring**:

- Solid understanding of the APAC region, particularly with respect to IT solutions, channel partners, distributors and influencers
- Experience leading a sales team in a Multinational and/or North American headquartered business
- Strong awareness of technology trends and their potential influence on our solutions to our customers, prospects and partners alike
- Proven ability to attract, hire, retain, mentor and grow top talent
- Good operational understanding of the various functions of a hardware manufacturer
- Pragmatic and solutions-oriented: always looking for more efficient and effective ways to get things done
- A passion to lead and mentor a sales team to success
- A dedication to meet and exceed revenue goals
- Proficiency using Salesforce for day to day management of the business and reporting

**Responsibilities as a Coach**:

- Lead a team of Sales Executives and Sales Engineers to predictably achieve and surpass sales goals
- Develop and execute a regional strategy that ensures monthly sales quota achievement
- Create and maintain an operations plan with goals and objectives for the region, based on opportunity, customer needs, and strategic direction
- Ensure sales processes and programs are part of the sales culture to ensure visibility, predictability and consistency
- Develop a culture of “hunting” and “closing”
- Establish strong partnerships with channel partners, distributors and platform partners across APAC
- Partner closely with US teams to ensure operational excellence and that brand and values are reflected locally
- Partner with People/Talent team to Recruit, hire and develop world class sales talent across multiple markets in the Region
- Develop an exemplary sales team who can lead the company into its next phase of growth
- Build a strong sales operations function across the APAC Region
- Serve as strategic thought partner to the GM NA Sales / APAC in all critical decision making using a data-driven approach
- Collaborate with all functions to ensure Sales and the rest of the company are closely aligned

**Responsibilities as a Player**:

- Develop and nurture executive relationships with existing and potential customers and partners and help to expand our footprint in your territory
- Meet and exceed overall business and revenue goals and targets
- Regular sales engagement with our distribution partners in the region: supporting their needs to optimize sales opportunities and drive increased awareness of DTEN across your assigned market
- Support the dealer network of resellers & integrators to develop the channel opportunities across the your assigned market
- Engage with end customers by providing high touch sales support and a focus on managing engagement with larger enterprise opportunities
- Strong focus and ownership of customer success, in collaboration with the global success organization, ensuring every customer is fully satisfied and willing to refer DTEN to other associates
- Close collaboration across the DTEN team to develop and evolve the sales approach in region and provide feedback on what is needed to deliver success
- Providing accurate, timely reporting to the GM NA Sales & APAC

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- 5 + years of successful sales and sales leadership across a multi-national, North American headquartered business
- 5+ years of experience involving channel sales, direct sales, regional management
- Great Communication skills in English
- Experience in any of the following sectors is preferred
- Manufacturer / Hardware
- Audio / Video, UC, Collaboration
- Video Conferencing
- Solid understanding of business culture’s within various countries throughout the APAC Region and hands on experience doing business in each.
- Business-related Bachelor Degree / MBA preferred but not required
