Our highly regarded IT Services client is delivering mission critical transformations and services on a global scale. To complete an exciting multi-million dollar project based in Canberra, they are currently interviewing for an experienced and NV1 cleared **Change & Release Manager**.

**As a Change & Release Manager, you will**:

- Lead all aspects of software release and version management
- Plan, test, track, release, deploy, communicate and assess risk management.
- Schedule the release readiness reviews before deployment and milestone reviews after each release
- Work closely with developers and automation engineers
- Ensure the automated delivery of capability that is tested, packaged, and released according to stringent quality and capability gates
- Create plans for the implementation and deployment
- Plan and provide weekly updates on the release activities

**To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills, traits, and experience**:

- NV1 clearance
- 2+ years’ experience in software release management.
- Working with automation within CI/CD pipelines.
- git and equivalent code management tools
- Software development projects
- Government Secure Environments
- Managing release engineers and working collaboratively with test teams
- Multi-discipline Agile teams
- DevSecOps environment.
- Automation using languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell
- Digitally signing artefacts for release
- Artefact repositories
- Source control management & operations
- Docker and containerisation
- Strong understanding of testing and code quality automation
