**About the Role**

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer the Facilities and Operations Manager is responsible for leading and managing the delivery of the Y’s centralised facility maintenance program across all facilities owned, managed or operated by YMCA Victoria. The role is pivotal to supporting operational managers across each service line, ensuring high quality facilities that meet legislative and compliance requirements, as well as promoting a safe, well-maintained and highly effective work environment.

The Facilities and Operations Manager will project lead and drive operational change across the business with a consistent approach to continuous improvement. Other responsibilities include:

- Inspire and influence managers and middle-managers across service lines
- Lead, develop and manage Office Administration Assistant and Facilities and Operations Coordinator
- Identify and implement asset register software solutions for the organisation
- Develop and maintain an accurate organisational asset register
- Identify opportunities to deliver more efficient facility maintenance (time, cost and quality) and establish contracts with providers
- Project manage and lead change across service lines to facilitate optimal outcomes

This is a permanent full-time role with a total package up to $136,716 including super (dependent on experience). You'll work from home and our Box Hill offices 1 to 2 days per week. The role will require some travel to our sites, where required.

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in maintenance/facilities management and exposure to managing end to end projects. With exceptional communication and influencing skills you will demonstrate the ability to manage a varied, complex workload. Delivering high level interpersonal leadership you will be able to generate engagement at all levels. Other requirements include:

- Attention to detail; additionally the ability to see the implications for the bigger picture
- Highly Organized, strong time management
- Ability to manage, motivate, and develop people to achieve positive outcomes
- Experience in implementing a preventative maintenance program
- Experience organizing, consulting and negotiating with contractors
- Sound MS Office skills
- High level communication and customer satisfaction

**Qualifications Required**
- Tertiary qualifications (desired) & Current drivers licence
- First Aid & CPR also desirable
