Melbourne, Australia Tandem Partners Full time

12 month contract (real potential for extension or perm)
- CBD location, but very flex in hybrid working
- $150k + super

This national, diverse and successful energy organisation is a prominent player in their market and appreciates the importance of bringing the right people in to ensure their continues success - this is where you come in.

With a strong People & Culture function in place, the team are on the lookout for a Workplace Relations Specialist to join on an initial 12 month contract (parental leave). With growing needs, there is a very real potential for the role to be extended or convert to permanent for the right person.

Reporting into the P&C Manager, the role will primarily focus on all IR/ER matters across the Supply Chain division, leveraging internal and external insights to deliver support and advice.

This diverse role will also lead union negotiations with the goal of delivering business performance, employee engagement and legal compliance. The role will also work with leaders in coaching and developing their skills and confidence in managing constructive relationships with union representatives.

Naturally from an ER perspective, the role also conducts investigations where relevant and case management.

You have a contemporary, pragmatic and flexible approach in how you go about solving problems (as we know one size does not fit all with this type of role) and you enjoy building relationships.

You may come from a background as an in-house Workplace Relations Specialist or even be an employment law expert in the legal industry looking to transition to an in-house role.
