Job Description:

As a Document Control Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining documentation required during the planning and execution stage of work in depots.

You will effectively control all documents (drawings, correspondence, specifications, procedures, polices) in accordance with required standards in an autonomous manner.

This is a maximum term full time role for a 24 month period.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work with relevant areas to develop the Document Change Request process and ensure compliance to develop documentation processes that align with legislative requirements and corporate policy.
  • Own version control for the processing of change and update of key documents and amendments.
  • Develop safe work instructions, training documents, and maintenance documents for use within maintenance departments.
  • Implement the Project Document Control Plan.
  • Monitor and maintain document control processes, including distributing project information, maintaining and updating the document control database, and preparing timely reports as required.
  • Promote document control best practice to internal stakeholders.
About You:
  • 3-5 years of experience as a document writer.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Ability to function autonomously.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Estimated Salary:

$85,000 - $115,000 per annum based on location and experience.
