**About the role**

Queensland Rail have a new opportunity for an experienced Program Delivery Manager to join the New Generation Rollingstock team based in Brisbane CBD. In this role, you will lead a team of project management professionals, to ensure the successful execution and delivery of the major modification projects back into the Queensland Rail Network.

You will need strong leadership skills to lead and motivate the team to achieve project goals, and exceptional communication skills to build quality relationships with internal and external stakeholders, navigate challenges and ensure a smooth delivery of the NGR projects.

**Day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include**
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of programs, managing timelines, resources, and budgets effectively
- Monitor project progress, provide regular reporting, address issues, and communicate effectively to all stakeholders
- Lead and inspire a diverse team, providing guidance and support to achieve both individual and collective goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Undertake negotiations and manage consultations and communications with clients, external bodies, community groups, unions, statutory authorities and key stakeholders on all program and project matters

**About you**
- Proven experience 5+ years in program management and delivery within the rail, construction or similar industries
- Familiarity with collaborating with other technical, project and operational staff to achieve project goals
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
