Coaching & Development Trainer - Workers

**About the role**
Working in a team of L&D specialists developing and enhancing the technical competence and proficiency our front-line claims team through individual coaching and formal training; providing our people with the skills and support to deliver industry leading outcomes for injured workers, employers and DXC providing claims management services. Developing and delivering our new starter Trainee Program and assisting in the organization and delivery of WorkSafe and DXC providing claims management services.
Role responsibilities include;
- developing and enhancing the technical competence and proficiency of our frontline claims teams through individual coaching and formal training;
- providing our people with the skills and support to deliver industry leading outcomes for injured workers, employers and DXC Integrated Services; and
- developing new training material and delivering our new starter trainee program
- assisting in the organisation and delivery of WorkSafe and DXC Integrated Services Trainee programs
- face to face coaching for trainee programs
**Applicants must have**:
- Minimum 2 years' case management experience in worker's compensation industry
**Preferred/Beneficial experience**:
- Experience developing and facilitating learning workshops
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
- Computer skills: Experience in general instruction design & e-learning development (Articulate), Learning Management System (LMS) administration experience.
**Other Qualifications**
- Good analytical and problem solving skills to assess needs and recommend solutions
- Good communication skills to develop training programs and procedures both written and verbal
- Good presentation skills, both in person and in distance learning, to train and educate all levels of employees
- Good interpersonal skills to facilitate effective working relationships with varied levels of employees and stakeholders
- Personal computer, software and multi-media skills to develop case management proficiency in claims staff
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Experience coaching/developing individuals
