About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to lead, coordinate and support the allied health clinical team responsible for the delivery of high quality, evidence-based allied health services across rehabilitation inpatient wards within STARS. The role will monitor, evaluate and manage activity performance including the relevant performance KPI's and associated data elements.
About you
- Lead staff by fostering and committing to patient safety and quality delivery of healthcare and service evaluation
- Provide expert guidance to service planning and lead implementation of evidence-based reviews and service evaluation activities to support continuous quality improvement and maintenance of clinical practice standards within allied health, across the multidisciplinary team.
- Accurately and concisely record all patient interaction as well as workload measurement statistics, to facilitate the analysis of service trends and actively influence practice change.
- Consult, develop and lead implementation of clinical practices, procedures and protocols that support the continuum of care within rehabilitation.
- Engage with consumers, families, advocates, decision-makers in formulating novel and creative solutions to complex situations to enable NDIS participants to live independently, aligned to guardianship and human rights legislation.
