About This Opportunity
We are seeking to appoint a Research Fellow/Clinical Research Fellow in Consumer and Community Involvement to enhance the research capacity and capabilities of both Metro North Health (MNH) and The University of Queensland (UQ).
The role will lead high quality research focused on community and consumer involvement in research aligned with STARS and MNH clinical services and priority research themes of UQ-SHRS and STARS.
Research and/or clinical experience in areas aligned with existing the strengths of the Alliance will be well-regarded (e.g., rehabilitation, speech pathology).
A key focus will be to plan, undertake and publish a program of clinical research under the general direction of the Director of the Education and Research Alliance, STARS, and university leaders.
The one role is offered - with or without contribution to STARS allied health clinical service delivery - as follows:Research Fellow in Consumer and Community Involvement (without contribution as a clinical allied health professional in STARS service) or;
Clinical Research Fellow in Consumer and Community Involvement (with contribution as an allied health professional in STARS services).
Clinical allied health services in STARS include inpatient rehabilitation (including general rehabilitation and specialist rehabilitation), ambulatory (day hospital) services, and surgical and procedural services (including orthopaedics, gastroenterology, ophthalmology).
The role is located primarily at STARS and as necessary at the University's St Lucia campus.This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia License.
