**How this position will Make the Difference to City of Melbourne**

The Event Operations Officer is one of three roles that manage a portfolio of filming, weddings, promotions, and low-risk events in public space. The Event Operations Officer contributes to the overall team by ensuring accurate and timely information is provided to customers when generating bookings and that information is accurately recorded in digital booking systems. The Event Operations Officer must work within set procedures and guidelines to ensure consistency when taking bookings and must keep accurate financial and risk management related records. It is expected the Event Operations Officer will identify and drive improvements within their work area and support the vision of the overall Experience Melbourne branch.

Where appropriate, this role will also work with other areas of Experience Melbourne in administrative support.

- Well-developed computer skills and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
