**Salary Package** -$140,000 this is a base salary paid monthly into your designated account plus Super and a $18,000 a year car allowance ( why do we pay a car allowance when its an internal sales manager position, because if you have all the right skills and motivations to join our company, we don’t want to miss out on you because you don’t want to give up the keys to your Jeep Cherokee SRT for a Myki card.

and a very lucrative bonus structure.

**Position** - Sales Manager adopt a team of sharp, vibrant, and self-motivated inbound call taking telephone salespeople on big base salaries and even bigger commissions.

**Your sales team -**
Based in Melbourne St. Kilda road.

No one works from home, if they do, they are not focused on earning the equivalent income of the top 6 salespeople.

Team numbers - currently 20 and 2 more about to start in August. And here’s the kicker, they all make ridiculous incomes, big bases plus big commissions, So the good guys are not going anywhere, and the poor performers have got something to lose.

Revenue each month - June 2023 25 million, the previous month May was 22mil, and April was 19 mil.

How have we increased revenue - implemented a better sales plan, higher standards, additional team incentives, training, more time in the job/ company for the better performing sales staff, accountability, and mentoring.

25million a month sounds a lot, it’s really not, sales averages of 1 sale closed a day, each worth a minimum of $60,000 a sale, it averages out at 1 a day due to the efforts of about 10 of the 20. The bottom 10 are customer service types, the 10 top are ready made salespeople.

FYI all enquiries are qualified, filtered and sorted by the presales team, if an enquiry is under 60k the presales team send it to another team in the business.

**Enquiries** - Warm and HOT and a ridiculous number daily about sums it up completely.

All 20 receive a ridiculous number of enquiries each day, they are flat out at all times, we have a dialler, as soon as they end a call there is another one coming through at all times, they each take 100 -150 enquiries a day each, plus their follow-ups.

each day a couple of our sales guys cut their lunch breaks short although we have never asked them to(if you have not already guessed, its always the top 6, and the top 6 average 150 calls taken a day each as well)

There is no time to cold call and if we were to start that again, it’s too time costly as its hit and miss with respect to size of customer. (they do call past enquiries from 1,2 &3 months ago that have potential)

All our enquiries are generated via online marketing campaigns.

What fuels these campaigns is that we spend the sum equivalent to the revenue of a small county each month on google advertising and other online advertising mediums. The result is we are so flooded with inquiries that we have increased the sales team by 2 new bodies each month over the past 4 months and as the skills grow (practice and time in the job), the revenue and your commission cheques will increase in addition to your 140k+S+18kcar, this salary is in the first year and no doubt you will want to discuss a healthy salary increase year on year. However, If and when you do though, please remember that an increase in salary is not awarded like a participation trophy, there are new benchmarks to achieve. They are achievable due to our desire for growth in revenue by increasing the number of staff numbers and increasing the inbound enquiries by increasing the spend in advertising. We are very well financed.

**The Ideal Sales Manager**
- Experience managing an inbound phone sales team, where each member of the team has to take 150 calls a day.

Past experience as a sales presenter and closer yourself( this is important so that you will really know what’s going on with your team members, there’s no value in blurting out some out-of-date 1990’s sales line you picked up at a training seminar that you have never actually used successfully yourself. The best results achieved by your predecessor is he sat with each person dissected their process and implemented a few strategic changes. Case in point - Sales person 17, trainer missed an integral part in the process, salesperson 17 did know what he didn’t know, your predecessor found this out quickly and rectified the problem, and his sales increased by 25%. Salesperson 17 is in the top 10.

You need to have an inspiring personality and be willing to roll up the sleeves when and if required.

You need to be proficient using a Pc and handy with reporting.
