This is a single vacancy, with two possible appointment classifications. The successful applicants will be appointed in the position appropriate to their skills, qualifications, and experience.

As the Manager for Community and Ambulatory Palliative Care Services, you will be responsible for providing leadership and operational management of the multi-disciplinary team of community palliative care staff to ensure safe, efficient and effective service delivery to patients and their families. Your daily tasks will include staffing methodologies, recruitment and selection, human resource management, financial administration, bed and resource management, accreditation and risk management processes and information systems management for the Community Palliative Care Team. You will use your experience and knowledge to address inconsistencies between practice and policy, for contributing to a safe and positive work culture in the interest of consumer outcomes, and for developing corporate team performance.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- high level interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with clients, professional staff of different disciplines, administrative staff and staff of other agencies, both orally and in writing.
- the ability to lead, collaborate, initiate and maintain service evaluation and prepare written reports for stakeholders to a high standard
- experience in project management, leading teams through change
