- Salary: $29.13 - $31.33 p/hr plus 25% Casual Loading | AHA2 | Multiple Casual Vacancies Available Until December 2023

This position is offered to Speech Pathology students in 3rd or 4th Year Bachelor or 2nd Year Masters. You will be required to work weekends and weekdays on a roster basis.

The Allied Health Assistant is accountable to the AHPs within RAP for provision of assistance with patient care as directed whilst undertaking duties to ensure therapy programs directed by Speech Pathologists are carried out with patients and undertaking of administrative support is completed as required.

To be suitable for this role you must demonstrate aptitude for work in a healthcare environment. You will have the ability to work under close supervision and direction form the Allied Health Professionals, and attend to routine work on a daily basis. You will be able to use documented resources such as policies and procedures and work instructions to enable safe work practices. You will have sound communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrate the ability to work with people from a variety of cultural and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
