On this occasion, we are working alongside one of our favourite clients, located ideally in central Melbourne, to source a Return to Work/Injury Case Management Specialist.

Your new role, will see you occupying the hot seat until 30th June, before an extension kicks in until 30th December 2023. As the RTW/Injury Management Case Specialist, you responsible for providing specialised WHS operational services with a specific focus on injury management to the Region to ensure cases are managed efficiently.

Your main duties in this role will be to:

- Review incident entered into the incident reporting system to ensure we address physical/psychologic injuries promptly
- Develop all return to work programs for early intervention, personal injury and workers compensation claims
- Facilitate communication with all stakeholders to ensure a smooth return to work for an injured employee
- Administer and keep an appropriate record of all workers compensation claims paperwork
- Assist with the calculation of new claims under PIAWE
- Liaise with our Workers Compensation insurance company to ensure all paperwork has been lodged correctly within the appropriate timeframes
- Work with management to find suitable duties for employees to assist with their timely return to work
- Create monthly reports of status of all injury management
- Respond to new incidents lodged on the new incident management system

1. Experience in RTW/Injury Management Claims in a Local Government setting

2. Technical knowledge of the wider Workers Compensation Claims process

3. Qualification in Return to Work (Certificate IV)

4. Strong ability to proactively manage client caseloads

5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills

6. Exceptional IT Skills, ideally including Document Manger, Aurion & Quickclaims
