La Boite Theatre is seeking a Marketing Officer who is looking to make their mark on one of the country’s most exciting creative organisations. The Marketing Officer will be a social media wizz, passionate about great communication, driven for excellence and a lover of the arts. They will bring a much-needed energy to the role and have experience working in a fast-paced environment, with a small but nimble team.

We are looking for a collaborative, proactive person with a can-do attitude who is confident and capable of navigating the cultural complexities of the broad array of the communities we work with. Central to success will be an excitement for working closely with our artists to devise and implement marketing campaigns that are specific to the work and the artists.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

**Goal**

To support the Marketing & Audience Development Manager to build La Boite's audience and profile through effective marketing, promotions and publicity activities.

**Duties**
- Be a champion of the brand and develop and implement high-quality and cost-effective marketing campaigns and materials for La Boite productions and other programs.
- Work with external agencies to deliver successful activities across PR, Social Media, Design, Website, photo and video productions, to generate awareness of the La Boite Season and programs.
- Provide high-level support to the Marketing & Audience Development Manager, Senior Management Team and broader team as required.

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE**
- Ideally minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a marketing position.
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, PR or Business.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Strong copywriting skills and experience writing across multiple platforms.
- Working knowledge of website CMS systems SEO, SEM and PPC campaigns.
- Proficient in all social media platforms.
- Brand and campaign management experience.
- A visual storyteller with a passion for creating high-quality and shareable content.
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and time-sensitive deadlines.
- Organisation skills with strong attention to detail.
