**The Role**
We are seeking a Divisional Controller to join our team within the Project Controls function. The Project Controls team provides scheduling advice and support to Project Managers, their teams and all stakeholders who supplement and support project, program and product delivery.

As the Divisional Controller you will:

- Ensure project control practices and procedures are developed and applied to projects and programs.
- Provide experienced and accurate project and program monitoring and controlling advice and solutions for risks and opportunities.
- Identify risks, uncertainties and opportunities during the planning process; develop and implement agreed recommendations that contribute to project outcomes.
- Build and sustain effective relationships.
- Motivate and mentor teams, aligning complementary skills and leveraging resources in a manner that delivers results.
- Assess and evaluate planning and scheduling activities against critical factors and recommend continuous improvement.
- Take the initiative to prioritise and progress work to meet business objectives and consider longer-term implications of own work.
- Provide clear direction to project teams on performance monitoring and control techniques, and conduct regular reviews and address under-performance promptly.
- Accountable for continued participation in line with the Scheduling Career Pathway and ongoing professional development.

**About our Team**
The JSD Program Centre (PgC) is the central resource for all Program Management Offices within JSD. We provide evaluation and support for project selection, Project/Product Managers, and provide an oversight of governance and compliance for FAS JSD.

JSD PgC exists to facilitate an enhanced programmatic focus and is responsible for coordinating, supporting, synchronising and aligning efforts to ensure best practices for:

- Project, Product and Program Management,
- Project and Product ‘Work Take On’,
- Project Controls and Scheduling,
- Risk Management,
- Product Management,
- Project, Program and Product reporting (Governance and assurance),
- Project, Program and Product workforce Professionalisation, and
- Is a conduit to reduce integration and interoperability risk within the Joint Domain.
- Provide briefs to FAS JS and FAS SPIA on recommendations based on work take on assessments.
