The Role

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Planning Analyst to join the team at Trenery. Reporting to the Senior Merchandise Planner, this position is primarily responsible for the analysis of historical sales figures to facilitate the effective and efficient distribution of stock.

Key Responsibilities
- Timely and accurate allocation of stock
- Management of stock build for new store openings/ refits and exit strategy for closures
- Analysing weekly reports and making recommendations to the Planner regarding store allocation needs
- Warehouse and store stock management to facilitate stock efficiency
- Managing consolidations in conjunction with the planner
- Analysing weekly reports to prepare channel performance commentary
- Liaising with retail teams to identify and support sales potential based on reactions to trade
- Managing store gridding by product type through store analysis and profiling in conjunction with planner
- Providing updated delivery information to stakeholders as required
- Analysing history and generate size curves for forward orders
- Supporting in updating and management of key planning tools for department
- Input markdowns/ price changes onto merchandise system and style maintenance
- Maintaining accuracy of range planners to order management system through regular DPO checks
- Creating, maintaining & communicating delivery schedule
- Conducting store visits with feedback & action plans
- Previous experience working in similar position, preferably in Apparel
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong administration skills and excellent attention to detail
- Experience using Retek or Microstrategy would be well regarded
- Have a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work within a fast paced environment whilst balancing competing interests and priorities
- Possess strong analytical skills and commercial nous
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally
- A can-do attitude, and thrives working in a team environment
