**About the role**:
The Financial Planning Analyst provides crucial analytical support in relation to business planning, long term forecasting and budgeting. The role is responsible for the maintenance, development and operation of the corporate financial model, as well as providing commercial and modelling support to internal and external stakeholders.
This role is based in our Melbourne CBD office.
**What you’ll deliver**:
- Manage corporate model to set budget and long-term plan.
- Influence budget and plan process and outcome across different finance and non-finance departments, including business partners, treasury and tax, regulation etc.
- Liaise with and prepare documentation and presentations to shareholders and board meetings.
- Assist in treasury hedging, debt investor and credit rating agency presentation.
- Assist in project investment analysis and capital governance.
- Develop best practice financial models/templates for use across the business.
**To succeed in the role, you’ll have**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics or Accounting.
- Demonstrate advanced Microsoft Excel skills in building complex financial models, including three-way financial models as well as models for ad-hoc analysis.
- Extensive use of Microsoft PowerPoint to present to stakeholders, ensuring key information is effectively communicated.
- Understanding of corporate finance concepts.
- Communication / stakeholder management.
- Attention to detail
