Newly created and due to growth, we are seeking an experienced Incident Analyst to join our Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) team. Reporting to the Head of GRC, this role will see you play a pivotal role in managing, providing support, challenging and overseeing operational risk and compliance incidents and/or breaches as well as remediation activities.

**About the role**
Incidents (and breaches as they are determined):
- Monitor alerts and triage / manage incidents as they are reported
- Facilitate / conduct root cause analysis / investigations or liaise with relevant employee / Subject Matter Expert to deliver the same
- Issue tasks to relevant stakeholders for resolution (or across the incident lifecycle) and monitor completion and accuracy / validity of the task completion
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of incident record / capture / status update / reporting in the GRC system
- Escalate any potential problems / roadblocks or challenges to the Head of GRC in a timely manner
- Project manage incidents and provide weekly / monthly reporting as adequate
- If incident is a reportable breach to the regulator, prepare draft reporting for submission and ensure timely monitoring and follow-up
Remediation:
- Document business requirements to create discrete datasets for different remediation scenarios
- Author calculation methodologies in line with RG277 and product sets to create an inventory of compensation calculators
- Identify and validate the scope of remediation by continuously triaging the remediation methodology against the supplied data
- Review / test communications to customers in relation to remediation activities
- Document processes for high volume and complex remediations
- Project manage remediation activities and provide weekly / monthly reporting as adequate
**About You**
- At least 2 years’ experience in the risk / compliance / control assurance space
- Ideally at least 6 months previous experience on incident management and / or remediation activities in the financial services sector
- Detailed understanding of RG277
- Ability to author business requirements, process and methodology documents
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong and effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders
- Familiarity with incident management frameworks in Financial Services
- Previous experience in project management will be a bonus
