**About the role**

You will act as the primary interface between the Operations teams and Digital Technology. You will own the service relationships which includes leading a team of contractors and managing vendors to ensure they are meeting contractual obligations and work is being completed to best practice.

**Some of your main responsibilities will include**:

- Manage local operation ITIL processes (incident, problem, change, service request) to ensure service outcomes are released
- Identify and implement Service Management improvement initiatives in collaboration with business and technology teams
- Provide technical guidance to the Operational & Technology teams
- Ensure the right level of knowledge and skills to support the Service Management Platform at the operation.

**About you**

You will have a solid background working in a similar role ideally within Mining or Heavy Industry and your knowledge of service methodologies, delivery and integration processes and procedures in an out-sourcing environment is key to success in this role.

**To be considered for the role, you will have**:

- ITIL certification and Degree in Computer Science or similar is preferred
- Sound knowledge of contract and vendor management processes and practices
- Demonstrated ability to contribute, influence and make decisions within multi-functional teams and across all levels
- Proven leadership experience
- Customer focused with a passion for making a difference

**Location**

This position will be based at the Regional Operations Centre, Port Kembla Coal Terminal in Wollongong, NSW.
