Lead the HR Arm of a rapidly growing Construction Company

We are working with a leading firm in the commercial fit-out and residential construction industry, currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to spearhead their HR department.
This pivotal role is tailored for a forward-thinking professional passionate about driving change, enhancing diversity, and implementing innovative HR practices within the construction sector.**Location**: Predominantly office-based with flexibility
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Strategic HR Management**: Formulate and execute comprehensive HR strategies that align with the business's overarching goals, ensuring the development, engagement, and retention of a high-performing workforce.
- **Recruitment and Talent Acquisition**: Lead the recruitment and selection process to attract and hire a diverse pool of top talent, adapting strategies to meet the evolving needs of the business.
- **Employee Relations and Compliance**: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations, addressing demands, grievances, or other issues while ensuring compliance with labor laws and HR best practices.
- **Performance and Compensation Management**: Implement and oversee a performance appraisal system that drives high performance, along with managing compensation and benefits programs to maintain a motivated workforce.
- **Training, Development, and Diversity Initiatives**: Identify training needs and implement development programs to enhance employee skills and productivity. Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives, fostering an inclusive and welcoming work environment.

**Requirements**:

- Significant experience in an HR managerial role - must have construction industry experience
- Familiarity with HR systems and databases.
- Strategic thinking with strong leadership skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of labour law and HR best practices.
- Exceptional negotiation, listening, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and manage interpersonal relationships at all company levels.
