What’s the job?

The Workday Specialist is responsible for managing the precise and timely input of employee lifecycle data in our HRIS, Workday. This role supports the People & Culture (P&C) team and the wider organization by serving as the primary point of contact for all first and second-tier HR inquiries, managing employee records, HR documentation for audit and compliance, and undertaking related data entry and business reporting tasks.

Day-to-day accountabilities:- Provide guidance and assistance to ensure accurate data management within Workday- Support HR Services Team with maintaining and communicating the Org Chart on Workday on a monthly basis- Collaborate with HR team members to recommend process improvements for the Workday System- Actively engage with the HR technology team to ensure alignment with organizational goals and technical feasibility- Seek feedback from the HR tech team to refine proposed enhancements and tailor solutions to meet operational and technical requirements effectively- Leading the testing phase and process through consultation with Experts in the US & onshore for Workday improvements and changes- Use the Workday Community site to troubleshoot and identify ways to better utilize the system

- This is a temporary position for up to 6 months, available for remote work anywhere in Australia, with an immediate start._ Potential to turn permanent_

Who you are?- A minimum of 4 years of experience with Workday Core HCM.- Strong understanding of HR processes and lifecycle, with skills in HR process mapping.- Excellent communication skills, effective stakeholder engagement, and collaborative ability.- Proficient to advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.- Professional demeanor in handling confidential matters.- Highly organized with superior time management and multitasking abilities.- Proactive, with a positive and solution-oriented attitude.- Experience managing system configurations in partnership with HR technology teams is desirable.
