- Provide broad administrative and executive support, critical facilities support, and services as a member of the Office of the Dean team in the Faculty of Architecture, Building, and Planning.

**About the Role**
The Administrative Services Officer (ASO) within the Faculty of Architecture, Building, and Planning's Office of the Dean will provide comprehensive administrative and executive support, including critical facilities management, to ensure efficient operational activities aligned with university policies. Reporting to the Office Manager and Executive Assistant to the Dean, the role will provide general executive support and contribute to the coordination of services for a diverse clientele of staff and students. With a focus on customer service, problem-solving, and project support, the ASO will play a pivotal role in enhancing the operational effectiveness of the faculty, requiring discretion, independent judgment, and professionalism in handling confidential matters and engaging with stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensure a wide range of administrative services are efficiently and effectively provided to staff, students and visitors
- Assist with the management and allocation of Faculty space including staff and resource relocations
- Assist with local processing of activities including finance and employee services tasks.
- Support OHS activities, and assist in Faculty onboarding of new staff.

You will also have:
- Completion of a degree or an equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training.
- Experience in office administration preferably in a tertiary environment.
- Excellent administration skills, including writing, IT competency, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively and flexibly within a team to achieve results.

The Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning is the leading educational and research institution in the Asia-Pacific region addressing the design and realisation of environments.
