**The Role**:
The Ballarat Regional Soccer Facility is owned and managed by the Recreation Services business unit of Ballarat City Council, a division of the Community Wellbeing Directorate

Located in Redan, the function and event space allows multipurpose use through the facility’s design lending itself to an array of entertainment and corporate needs.

To provide hospitality and bar tendering services during events, functions, and competition day. The role offers a flexible work schedule, including weekend work.

**About You**:

- Deliver excellent customer service in the Bar and Function Room for the Ballarat Regional Soccer Facility in dealing with patrons’ safety and comfort and client’s needs. At all times be mindful of the hirer’s requirements.
- Reconcile cash, and EFTPOS takings at the end of the selling period, balance cash and ensure all cash is secure.
- Actively promote a positive team approach to work.
- Always ensure and maintain the safety of the venue and its patrons by ensuring security processes are followed, familiarity with emergency evacuation procedures and the workplace environment always remains in a clean and tidy condition.
- Maintain exceptional presentation of the Venue’s public areas.
- Prepare the function space for clients, arranging seating and other requirements as needed.
- Light cleaning and general uptake of bar and function space.
- Maintain and understand City of Ballarat and Ballarat Regional Soccer Facility’s Occupational Health and Safety Guidelines and other relevant policies and procedures.
- Opening and closing shifts for the function space as rostered.
