They have grown their portfolio of clients to include commercial premises, major festivals, events, venues, stadiums as well as providing sustainable consumables and washroom supplies. With over a 30+ year history, Australian Green Clean employ over 500 staff working in over 600 sites throughout Australia.
**Key Responsibility Areas**:
- Determine staffing needs and recruit field staff by advertising jobs, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and checking references.
- Oversee employee onboarding and provide ongoing support throughout their employment.
- Manage employee compliance using online software for licenses, certifications, visas, and training.
- Assist Managers and Site Supervisors with conducting performance reviews.
- Ensure all shifts are filled promptly within the time and attendance system.
- Support operations in sourcing replacement staff for leave coverage or last-minute shifts.
- Aid Account Managers in adjusting the live roster based on filled vacancies.
- Prepare HR documents such as job descriptions, conduct employee management meetings, and update company procedures.
- Coordinate HR content for quarterly employee newsletters and Employee of the Month programs.
- Manage transitions of employee contract types in compliance with modern awards and legislation.
- Provide monthly recruitment reports and conduct attendance audits.
**What you look like and need to demonstrate to be successful**:
- Proven experience in a fast paced administrative / operations role.
- Preferable HR qualifications or relatable industry experience.
- Proficient with computer & technology skills.
- Sound understanding of Microsoft Office suite/apps; Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Forms, ‘Monday’, Canva.
- Current drivers license & own vehicle would be preferable.
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- High level of attention to detail.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a desire to learn new things.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
- High level of initiative & problem-solving skills.
- Minimum typing speed of 55wpm.
