**About the Company**
Our NSW State Government client is responsible for providing independent advice to assist NSW Government in identifying and prioritising the delivery of major infrastructure across NSW for economic growth and social wellbeing.
**About the Role**
They are currently seeking a highly professional and personable Receptionist to join their team in Sydney CBD commencing ASAP. This is an estimated 3-month temporary assignment with strong potential to extend.
Supporting the Manager, you will be required to provide a wide range of project, executive, administration, and business support services to meet the objectives of the Infrastructure team.
In this role you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- Act as first point of contact, delivering professional frontline customer service
- Reception duties, managing a busy switchboard
- Ensure a clean, tidy and presentable work environment
- Answer enquiries, in a timely and accurate manner
- Escalate complex complaints as required
- Schedule and coordinate meetings and events
- Preparation of documentation including correspondence, presentation material and reports
- Gather and collate information to support informed decision making outcomes
- Complete routine purchasing services for the office
- Records and database management ensuring confidentiality, integrity and accuracy
- Establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements
**About You**
To be successful in this great assignment, you will have the following:
- Demonstrated Reception, Administration or Business Support experience
- Professional and immaculately presented at all times
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise competing deadlines
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite
- Takes initiative, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
